EOD Technology, Inc. (now Janus Global) specialized in environmental remediation and security during my tenure (2001-2007). The Former Camp Wheeler is representative of the projects I executed for U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, having bid, won, executed, and selected to return based on prior work in the review and clean-up projects with a strong specialization in Community Relations.

I've been called the Erin Brokovich of Bomb Disposal. During my nearly 7 years as a government/defense contractor, it was my job to research, prepare and implement a complete Community Relations Plan.  In total, my efforts on the Former Camp Wheeler, and many sites like it, included the following:

  • Historical Records Search

  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research

  • Identify and partner with stakeholders

  • Establish and maintain public communication

    • Authored Press Releases

    • Developed CRM of stakeholders/landowners

    • Developed and maintain project website

  • Provided Safety Briefings

  • Served at Public Information Specialist on-site

  • Hosted public meetings (+2K attendees)

  • Organized media and education events

  • Prepared and present project materials

  • Coordinated project schedule and safety evaluations

  • Authored final reports
